If you're struggling to come up with ideas for a small bathroom on a budget, here are some tips.
1. Combined Basin & Toilet Unit
Having worked on Bathrooms in Rochdale for many years, we can safely say, this is the most popular product for small bathrooms, the Combination unit consist of both basin and toilet, you have that much needed extra storage with the vanity unit to!
2. Corner Spaces
Corner spaces pop up quite often in small bathrooms, so by taking advantage of this offset shower quadrant, which gives you a bit more room compared to a standard quadrant.
Perfect for that awkward sized bathroom.
3. Small Bathroom Floor Space
Small bathrooms need a look to make them feel bigger... One way of that is to have wall mounted (Floating) units - By freeing up floor space, the bathroom gives off an illusion that its much bigger than it actually is.
4. Half Tiled Walls
Some small bathroom looks huge when they are only half tiled.
Half tiled, half the cost! Brilliant for budget bathrooms that still want to look great.
5. Light It Up!
Lighting is another great way to give off the illusion that the bathroom is bigger.
Brighter lights make the room feel less cramped.
Go one step further and add a mirror with lights.
6. Under The Floor To Save The Wall
Underfloor heating has progressed since it first came out, giving great heat output with fantastic efficiency.
Customers who don't need a radiator or want to save space could utilise the use of underfloor heating by sacrificing the radiator on the wall.
Getting rid off the radiator on the wall will make the room feel bigger, but at the cost of not having anywhere to dry / warm your towels.
Would you get rid of your towel radiator for underfloor heating?
7. Storage
Mirrors combined with a storage cupboard, great!
Who doesn't appreciate more storage in bathrooms... Especially small bathrooms.
Go that one step further and get a mirror cabinet with lights, making the room feel even more bigger.
8. Get Rid Of The Bath
Getting rid of the bath might sound crazy to some, but when you need to save £££ and need the extra space in a small bathroom, then it's not a bad idea at all.
9. Down The Loo
Consider the toilets options you have, there are many to choose from:
Close coupled toilets
Wall hung toilets
Comfort height toilets
Rimless toilets
There are many to choose from and all vary in price... We really appreciate Rimless toilets due to their hygiene ratings.
10. Install A Bath Shower Screen
Don't hide your bathroom with a shower curtain, making it feel cluttered and clammy.
Get a bath shower screen installed, they're much more water tight and don't cost too much, whilst also opening the room up.
